bright idea

i've been looking for inexpensive lamps, but have yet to find anything i really love. i got this lamp on clearance at target for $13.98 and figured it would at least get us through the dark winter ahead. i decided to try and vamp it up, so i used some beverage napkins purchased at tjmaxx for $1.50 and voila! $15.00 and a half-hour and i have a one-of-a-kind lamp that i actually really like! i can't wait to see it at night...

That would make for a great craft night activity. Boo ;( I'm not there to participate. You are so creative! How are the pillows coming? Have you started them yet?

Thanks I's excited! haha, and I actually did fall for it. I asked him earlier if he was going to do it on my birthday and he said that he wasn't because it would "make the other gifts he got me less cool". He also took me to a few jewelry stores all week so I would think he was still looking.

I honestly thought that he had it... till we went to all the stores. Even after the first shop i thought he was just kidding me. But when he continued, I didn't think he would go to that much effort just to throw me off. Guess I was wrong. But I'm glad, i wanted it to be a surprise and it worked:)

Emilie said you know lots about this stuff so i may need your advice on some things. All i really know is that we are getting married on December 20th in the SL temple.

I don't have a dress, colors, ideas, anything! I wasn't one of those girls who started planning 10 years ago. I figure i will start with the colors and go from there.

Oh! Do you know of any places to have receptions near Syracuse (Layton) My mom really wants it there, but i don't want to do it in a church and she cant find anything else. I know money is an issue, but have any ideas? Or if we end up having to do it in a church do you think you could help me with good decoration ideas so it isn't LAME-o!? Let me know!
