dear m.a.c,

i'm sorry i've treated you with such disrespect. i suppose i should let you know that it wasn't actually me who scraped you and threw you and shook you out on the carpet. it was nash. he just doesn't feel for you the way i do. (or for the carpet for that matter.) and in my further defense, it wasn't me who let him do it-it was someone else. i won't name names, but he's been a little...preoccupied. he says he was "studying," but i'm not so sure it wasn't Rock of Love. either way, just know that i never meant to hurt you. i'm as hurt by this as you are.

farewell zonk bleu!, expensive pink, and retrospeck. you were my favorite shadows. at least i get a free lipstick in trade for your carcasses?!

yeah....no. it's still in there. he must have rubbed it in. plus it sat overnight (good ol stevie didn't even notice it had happened). it tried using brush cleaner and it took some out...any tips?

Oh that's sad. When I saw the video of him graciously imitating you putting on the makeup I though to myself "I hope he doesn't figure out how to open that." Probably won't be the last of your make up to be ruined. When my sister opened my blush compact a few months ago she said "you obviously don't have kids" because it was all intact.

I'm sad for your makeup. But truthfully, this is a comment about Rock of Love. Seriously? That show just grosses me out, and this is coming from someone who used to fantasize about Bret Micahels because of his perfectly perfect lips. He's mostly just so gross and old now and as much as the train-wreck-watching humanistic side of me wants to watch it, I just can't do it because he's really just that gross and creepy now. Plus I don't want the new image of him to spoil my savored memories of "Unskinny Bop" and "Back to the Rocking Horse."

Tell Steve that if he watched Rock of Love anymore, he will contract an STD. True story.

It took me until the last paragraph to realize you were talking about makeup and not a computer. Duh. I'm still not sure if those were lipstick or eyeshadow.. But here is an excerpt from Consumer Reports "How to Clean Practically Anything":
**the Detergent sol'n = 1 tsp mild clear or white neutral detergent (a mild dishwashing liquid containing no alkalis or bleach) in 1 cup warm water. Don't use laundry detergent.***The ammonia sol'n=1 tbsp household ammonia with 1/2 cup water. Don't mix with bleach.**

Lipstick & Lip Gloss: Blot with acetone-based nail polish remover. If stain remains, try, in this order, a cleaning solvent and the detergent solution. Rinse.

Mascara, powdered shadow, blush: Blot with alcohol. If stain remains, try the dtergent solution and then the ammonia solution. Rinse with warm water. For powders, vacuum with and old nylon stocking placed over the attachment nozzle.

I hope that helps. Good luck!

Normally I would side with you on this, nothing is more upsetting than smashed make up! However...Rock of Love? Dude - I can TOTALLY relate. Cody and I have been sucked in and we can't get enough!! I mean really, can it get better? Really? Such drama, such, fake body appendages, such an impressive amount of trampy clothes. I tell you what. it's my favorite thing right now - and I don't even feel guilty about it.
